Article Writing Guidelines for Al Hisbah Journal

Al Hisbah Journal is published twice a year, every March and August, containing papers/articles on ideas and research written by experts, educators, students, practitioners, and reviewers in the fields of Islamic economics, financial management, zakat, infaq, shodaqoh and waqf (ZISWAF), income, scarcity, development of Islamic economics, economics of happiness and others

General Requirements:

The length of the article is between 6000 and 9000 words (including bibliography, notes, and tables).
Attach a statement that the article has never been published in another publication and in any form.
Each article will be given a plagiarism test.
The article consists of 10 components:

The sections in the article do not use Sub-Titles, the article is submitted using the following components:

Title: Maximum 15 words. The font used is Time New Roman, 12 centered, and bold.

Author's Name: The author's name is written under the title using Times New Roman, 12, Bold, without a title, and cannot be abbreviated. The name of the institution and the author's email address are written under the author's name in Italics

Abstract: The abstract consists of 150 to 250 words, written in Indonesian and English. The abstract contains a summary of the research background, research objectives, research methodology, and research results. Typed using Times New Roman 11 font and single spacing

Keywords: Maximum 5 words/phrases

Introduction:

The manuscript is typed in Times New Roman font size 12, 1.5 spacing and Justify. Normal margins with a total of 6000-7000 words in .doc format.

The introduction consists of the background or reasons for the research, supporting theories from several libraries that form a clear theoretical basis, problem formulation, and writing objectives. The introduction is written in one chapter without subtitles. All the presentations in the article are written in essay form, so there is no numeric or alphabetical format that separates between chapters/sections, or to mark new chapters/sections. Therefore, if there is a part of the article content that requires numbering or bullet lists, make it a flowing paragraph as follows: (1) one, (2) two, and (3) three.

In the Introduction it is explained (1) what is crucial about the issue or phenomenon so that the author needs to write or publish it, whether in qualitative or quantitative research, (2) Are the existing (already) writings not enough? Explain: what have other people ALREADY written and what has NOT been written (that's why this writing is needed). (Previous research) (Novelty). (3) What is the (specific) purpose of the writing? (is it different from the others? The purpose of this writing COMPLETES the shortcomings of existing writings) => focus of the writing (4) What do you want to test (prove) in this writing? (argument or hypothesis to be tested).

Describe in detail the background of your article and the position of your current research among other research on related themes. You should also discuss the relationship between your research and other researchers; a literature review, especially of the most relevant recent academic work published in highly reputable journals, is a must

Methods:

The research method in the article manuscript explains the type of research, subject and object of research, time and location of research, research instruments, sampling methods, data collection, and data analysis. For research using tools and materials, write the specifications of the tools and materials. For qualitative research such as classroom action, case studies, and others, it is necessary to increase the existence of research, research subjects, informants who play a role in supporting research data, location and duration of research

Discussion (Sub-Title of Discussion)

The findings are presented in full and linked to the previously determined research scope. Findings can be supplemented with tables, graphs, and/or charts. Tables and figures are numbered and titled. The results of data analysis are explained correctly in the article. The discussion section logically explains the findings that are linked to relevant sources. Written using Times New Roman 12 font

Conclusion:

The content of the conclusion should be the answer to the questions and objectives of the research. The conclusion is presented in one paragraph, not bullet points, and is not expressed in statistical sentences.

Suggestions

The author writes down his suggestions from the research results obtained, both suggestions for further research and subjects that have been studied.

Bibliography: contains reference sources with journals and books published in the last 5 years. APA style. It is recommended to use Mendeley or other similar applications.
