Al Hisbah: Journal of Islamic economics maintains peer review standards while increasing process efficiency.
The initial review process is at least 3 months. The review process uses a double-blind peer review.
All research articles published in al Hisbah: Journal of Islamic economics undergo full peer review, their main characteristics are listed below:
All research articles are reviewed by at least two qualified experts.
All publication decisions are made by the Editor-in-Chief of the journal based on the reviews provided
Members of the Editorial Board provide insight, advice, and guidance to the Chief Editor in general and to assist in making decisions on specific submissions
Managing Editors provide the administrative support that enables al Hisbah : Journal of Education to maintain the integrity of peer review while providing fast turnaround and maximum efficiency for authors, reviewers, and editors.
al Hisbah: Islamic economics journals also benefit from the process of referencing manuscripts from high-quality peer reviews conducted by established journals.
Peer review of referenced papers:
Editorial al Hisbah: Economic journals will soon decide whether to accept, reject, or request revisions of referenced papers based on editorial reviews and insights from supporting journals. In addition, Editors will have the option to seek additional reviews when needed. Authors will be notified when the Editor decides that further review is required.
Peer review of novel submissions:
Articles submitted directly to al Hisbah: Journal of Islamic economics will be fully peer-reviewed by at least two qualified experts in the field selected by the Chief Editor. The Chief Editor or the appointed member of the Editorial Board will then decide whether to accept, reject, or request revisions based on the reviews and comments received.
The editor will decide whether each submission reports well-conducted research with conclusions supported by the data presented in the paper. The priority assessment will not factor into the decision, but all papers should make additional or novel additions to the literature.
